Privacy Policy

FuelMe EU‑UK · Effective 2026 · European approach, minimal personal data.

1. Controller

DC‑Service.eu (FuelMe). Contact: [email protected].

2. Personal data

FuelMe is designed so that we do not sell your personal driver data for profiling or third-party marketing. Community price updates are anonymised before server processing where applicable.

Where ads are shown, Google AdMob (Android app) and/or Google AdSense (web/PWA, when enabled) may process device and advertising identifiers under Google’s privacy policies. An optional Remove ads subscription removes in-app and web ad placements offered by FuelMe.

3. Local storage

Operational data (such as preferences, logs of actions you take in the app, and cached content) is stored on your device (browser storage / PWA). Nothing in this category is transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly trigger a feature that requires a network request (for example loading public station data).

4. Optional cloud export

If you choose backup or export to a cloud provider (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.), that transfer is initiated only by you. We do not receive the contents of your backup as part of that flow unless you separately send data to an endpoint we operate and you have been informed of that in context.

5. Camera & location

Camera is used only for on‑device receipt and scanner flows where the product provides them; images are processed according to in‑app disclosures (typically without uploading the raw image for OCR where client‑side processing is used).

Location is used only to show nearby stations and related features when you grant permission. It is not sold. Ad SDKs may use separate device identifiers as described in section 2.

6. Advertising & analytics

7. Third parties

Public fuel and map data may be retrieved from third‑party data sources as described in product documentation; that does not constitute “sharing your personal profile” with those parties. Payment processing for the Remove ads subscription is handled by Google Play and/or Apple App Store under their terms. Google may also process data as an advertising provider when ads are displayed.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

Where applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us at the email above. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

For deletion-specific steps, see FuelMe Data Deletion Request.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top will be revised when material changes are made.
